Plan short-form growth for an app: founder-led first, creators after a signal (/creator-growth)

Plan growth for a consumer app through short vertical video — founder-led content first, paid UGC creators only after a measured signal.

/creator-growth {project-name}

Read the real funnel numbers first (launches, core action, paywall, purchases). Apply the budget gate: retainer ÷ net revenue per sale. If we are an order of magnitude below payback, plan Phase 1 only: founder-led, 4 formats, 1-2 posts a day, 2-3 niche accounts, one campaign link per platform × account. Write docs/marketing.md with the arithmetic and the Phase 2 trigger as a number.

In Claude Code, paste the prompt as a message, or run /creator-growth which does this end to end.

Steps

  1. Install the skill into Claude Code with the line above (or all of solo-factory: npx skills add fortunto2/solo-factory --all).
  2. Run it when: The app works but nobody installs it, and you are deciding whether to pay creators.
  3. The skill asks for what it needs and writes its output into the project; read the summary it prints before trusting the files.

Example

Most app software can now be copied in a weekend; distribution is the moat. For consumer apps in 2026 the channel that moves installs is short vertical video made by people on camera (UGC). Agencies run it at scale with hundreds of paid creators. A bootstrapped app cannot afford that, but it can run the same playbook with its founder and a few niche accounts, and buy creators only once one format has proved it converts.

  • Skills are prompts, not programs: read SKILL.md once, then you know exactly what the agent will do.
