Common questions
The rates look out of date.
Pull the list down to refresh. If the refresh fails the app keeps the previous rates and marks the badge with a no-signal icon. The badge turns orange after 4 hours.
A chart says there is no data.
Historical series are not published for every pair; the ruble has none. Providers also throttle free requests, so wait a moment and reopen the chart.
A refresh hangs.
Requests time out after 10 seconds (20 s total), then the app falls back to cached rates. Check the connection and pull to refresh again.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, after it has loaded rates once. Rates are cached on the phone and conversion runs locally. The badge at the top shows how old the rates are.
Where do the rates come from?
European Central Bank reference rates via Frankfurter for 30 currencies, open.er-api.com for the ruble, CoinGecko for the five cryptocurrencies. They are reference rates: a bank or exchange office adds its own spread and fees.
How often do rates update?
Automatically when the cached rates are more than 4 hours old, and any time you pull the list down.
Which currencies are supported?
31 currencies (30 from the ECB list plus the ruble) and Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and BNB: 36 in total.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and no ads.
