Common questions

Who can see a report?

Anyone who opens the same site's page for that day, including the crew lead. Do not put names or phone numbers in the note.

How do I delete a report?

Email [email protected] with the report number shown after sending, plus the site and day.

The plan failed to load.

If the forecast source is rate-limited, the plan falls back to the nearest AirNow monitor. Try again, or open the plan on airsignal.app/crew.

How do I print the briefing?

Use Print in the app; the sheet opens on airsignal.app/crew, where you can print or save a PDF.

Which rules does it use?

Cal/OSHA Title 8 5141.1 (wildfire smoke) and 3395 (heat illness prevention). The smoke rule's N95 requirement starts at AQI 151 for PM2.5, measured as a NowCast.

Does it work outside California?

Not yet. The rules are California's, and fires and monitors are US data.

Is it legal advice?

No. It is a planning aid. The rule still requires the employer's own determination of the air quality at the site.

Do workers need an account to report?

No. Reports need no name or account; location is attached only if allowed.
