Safe-zone and aspect-ratio overlay
Safe-zone and aspect-ratio overlay: a free tool that runs entirely in your browser. No sign-up, nothing uploaded.
Drop a frame or a video and see the TikTok, Reels and Shorts UI zones over it; crop and pad numbers between 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 with the ffmpeg line.

Safe zones for 9:16 feeds
FAQ
Where do the safe-zone numbers come from?
Working margins from where TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts draw their own UI (caption, buttons, progress bar) over a full-bleed 9:16 post today. They are not published specifications; check against a screenshot of your own post, and edit the numbers in the core if your measurements differ.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The frame or video is decoded by your browser and drawn to a canvas with the overlay on top. Nothing leaves your machine.
Crop or pad?
Crop (fill) when the subject is central and you can lose the edges; pad (fit) when the whole frame matters, with a blurred copy behind it instead of black bars. The ffmpeg lines below do each.
