FaceAlarm support
A daily alarm that only stops when you take a selfie, building a dated photo record of your face.
Contact
Write to [email protected]. A person reads every message, usually within two working days. Include your device model, iOS version and the app version (in the App Store listing or Settings), and what you expected to happen.
Common questions
The alarm did not ring
On iOS 26 allow Alarms for FaceAlarm in Settings; on earlier iOS allow notifications and keep the app's alarm enabled. Settings has a Test Alarm row that rings in 5 seconds.
Photos are missing from the gallery
Use Settings > Sync photos to re-read the FaceAlarm album, or Import old photos to bring back a series from a previous install. With Limited Photos access, add the album's photos or switch to Full Access.
The camera won't take the photo
The app only accepts a photo with a face in frame. Face the camera in good light and line up with the outline guide.
Restore my purchase
Open the support screen and tap Restore Purchase with the same Apple ID.
Are my selfies uploaded?
No. The app saves them to a FaceAlarm album in your Photos library and never sends them anywhere. If iCloud Photos is on, Apple syncs that album like any other.
Does it recognise my face?
No. Apple's Vision checks only that a face is in the frame (a box around it) so the alarm cannot be dismissed with a photo of the ceiling. Nothing about your face is stored.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in.
Is it free?
Yes. A one-time $4.99 'Support the App' purchase removes the support screen; it unlocks no features.
Is there an Android version?
Yes, on Google Play as com.facealarm.app. It has no internet permission.
