# FaceAlarm

A daily alarm that only stops when you take a selfie, building a dated photo record of your face.

FaceAlarm is an alarm clock for face yoga, gua sha or a skincare routine: it keeps ringing until you take a selfie, and each selfie lands in a dated gallery. Compare any two days side by side and watch your streak grow. Photos stay on your phone and there is no account.

## Features

- **Alarm that needs a selfie.** The alarm is dismissed by taking a photo, and Apple's Vision checks a face is in frame first. On iOS 26 it uses AlarmKit for full-screen alerts; earlier versions use notifications. Four melodies; volume buttons take the photo.
- **Face guide.** An outline overlay helps you hold the same angle and distance every day, so photos line up.
- **Gallery, comparison and collages.** A calendar gallery by date, side-by-side comparison of two days, and a 2x2 collage you can share.
- **Streaks and year view.** Streak count and a yearly activity ring/spiral calendar of the days you showed up.
- **Skincare tools.** A 62-question Bauman skin type test, an SPF guide, photo tips and a lymphatic drainage guide, all bundled in the app.

## FAQ

### Are my selfies uploaded?

No. The app saves them to a FaceAlarm album in your Photos library and never sends them anywhere. If iCloud Photos is on, Apple syncs that album like any other.

### Does it recognise my face?

No. Apple's Vision checks only that a face is in the frame (a box around it) so the alarm cannot be dismissed with a photo of the ceiling. Nothing about your face is stored.

### Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in.

### Is it free?

Yes. A one-time $4.99 'Support the App' purchase removes the support screen; it unlocks no features.

### Is there an Android version?

Yes, on Google Play as com.facealarm.app. It has no internet permission.

A face yoga tracker with a selfie alarm: the alarm does not turn off until you take the selfie, which is what makes the daily record happen. Works offline, no sign-up.
